Who has the copyright when I order a product from Creative Studio OKAY?

The copyright always belongs to the maker (Creative Studio OKAY) unless it is handed over in exchange for an extra payment. The price for this depends on the assignment.

Can I use the illustration/product I received from Creative Studio OKAY for anything I want?

You may only use the product for the purpose it was originally designed for. The use of this product is agreed upon in the offer.
For republication or use for other purposes, you may always contact me.

Submitting text
The customer is responsible for providing correct text to use in designs. (For example for a card, a pamphlet or for company branding etc.) The text should preferably be typed / digitally supplied to prevent errors as much as possible.
The customer is kindly requested to check the text properly during the various check/approval moments. Creative Studio OKAY cannot be held responsible for any errors in text afterwards.

Prices / Terms for payment

Because it, unfortunately, isn't uncommon in the design industry, for clients to disappear into thin air, I am forced to charge a small portion of the complete sum in advance* of the concept-phase. (The hight of this fee will be mentioned in the offer, depending on the assignment)

If you have given your approval for the concept and you decide that you want the designs to be completed, you pay half of the remaining amount and the final payment upon delivery of the final products. (For small assignments you only have to pay the down payment for the concept, and complete the final payment upon delivery)

The last payment should be completed before you receive the final product. Only in exceptional situations, there is a possibility to pay afterward. In that case, you will receive an invoice that will have to be paid within fourteen days. If you haven't paid after two weeks, I will send a reminder that you will have to pay within a week. If you do not pay within that week, I can charge extra administration costs and I will call in a collection agency if necessary.

*Down payments for the concept are never reimbursed.

More work
​
If you want to have big changes made after the revision phase, it will be more work for me, so an extra fee will be charged. We will work towards a fitting solution together.
